STILL LEARNING
According to the Ubuntu tribe of South Africa, mistakes are a cry for help. When a member of the tribe makes a mistake, rather than punishing him, they surround him for two days and tell him what he has done right. Tessa’s aim is to communicate to everyone that it is okay to make mistakes and that we need to be kind to ourselves and others. Allow yourself time to discover who you are and what drives you. ‘’In my journey to find my passion, painting, I often felt insecure. Wondering if I was good enough. Now I am surrounded by people who let me know it is okay to accept myself. Acknowledging that good and bad days are a part of the learning process.
